|VM Host (Physical):||felix|
|Operating system:||Debian 8.2|
Comm was reinstalled by Jared when the old Comm was not working. It only supports mumble clients.
Software installed is the following after building from the Felix Base VM:
To connect to the mumble server, you'll need the Mumble client (this can be retrieved from your local package manager, or acquired from their page here). On the first running of the software, it will prompt you to configure your audio devices, which is beyond the scope of this guide. To add the COSI server, click Connect, Add New... on the next window. Enter the following data:
Label: A name for these server settings to be saved by (your choice). Address: mumble.cslabs.clarkson.edu (comm.cslabs.clarkson.edu will also work). Port: 64738 Username: The name you want to be identified by (feel free to use your cosi IRC username)
There is no password, so that can be left blank.
If you use this on Clarkson Wifi, you will need to force TCP mode since UDP is disabled on the Clarkson Wifi. COSI wifi will work fine however.
