The Executive Board was once the governing body of the Applied Computing Labs. The Roles and Responsibilities and Guiding Principles are two products of the board. The board has been superseded by a less formal arrangement, with the lab meetings being overseen by two lab directors.

Guidelines

The guidelines for membership were as follows:

  • The individual is currently filling a position.
  • The individual has filled a position and, through in person discussion by the Executive Board (with that individual in absence), they are invited to remain a member.
  • The individual has made substantial contributions to the lab and, through in person discussion by the Executive Board (with that individual in absence), they are invited to become a member.
