Archiving Past Semesters

I think it might be a good idea to archive the past semester in a way similar to this: the "Meeting_Presentations" page will always have the current semester and then there can be sub pages, such as "Meeting_Presentations/Spring_2008", where we can just copy and paste the table for that semester into.

We would then create an new and empty table (empty as in everything except the date in each row). — Ryan Lewis 15:02, 4 August 2008 (EDT)

My original plan was just to add a new section at the top of the page (e.g. ==Spring 2009== ... ==Fall 2008== ... ==Spring 2008==). That way the current semester is clearly visible without the need for putting everything on separate pages. Thoughts? --Shephezj 18:14, 4 August 2008 (EDT)
I guess it doesn't quite matter to me personally but I do think we should get the minutes that are missing from last semester posted before we even archive anything. --McCarrMS 21:40, 6 August 2008 (EDT)

Proposed Move

Proposal:

  • Move Meeting Presentations to Presentations
  • Add Workshops (Saturday presentations) to the "Full Presentations" table
  • Add end times to the "time column"
  • Add time to the Lightning Presentations

Revision:
  • Move each semester to a sub page and have the main page redirect to the current semester --Shephezj 20:40, 4 September 2008 (EDT)
I just created a sub page for the spring, but left the main page the same for now. — Ryan Lewis 09:55, 9 September 2008 (EDT)
Done. --Shephezj 10:29, 10 September 2008 (EDT)
