Summary

To make the Unisys ES7000 Mark 405 actually work

Installation Process

From a clean Windows XP Professional SP2 install:

Install the following: From the 'Server ... CD'

  • The management drivers: Intel chipset and Intel NICs
  • Firmware
  • REBOOT
  • Install the imaging software (aka Norton Ghost)
  • Install Adobe Reader (from internet)

From the 'Windows XP' CD install the following extras:

  • SNMP services
  • IIS (All sub-services) NB: Make sure to hit the 'Details' button on the 'Web Service' and check the 'Remote Desktop Service' box
  • REBOOT

From the 'Server Sentinal (Sept. 2005)' CD
